Seamless textures are useful for quite a number of things, such as website and desktop backgrounds, texture fills in Adobe Photoshop or other graphics or photo editing programs like Corel Draw, Illustrator, Fireworks, etc. Textures are also used in 3D modeling in programs like Cinema 4D, Bryce 3D, 3DS Max, or Lightwave 3D to help add realism to 3D environments and characters.
Textures are also often used in video game design (in fact, in the years these textures have been available, I've been contacted by several game developers to inform me that some of these textures were used in their latest video games — pretty cool!).
There are 10 separate "Texture Packs" for you to choose from, each one containing 50 original seamless textures. To view and save a texture, click on it's thumbnail and it will open in a popup, tiled as a seamless background.
You may also download a zip file for each pack, which contains all the textures from that pack.
